I want to thank you again for helping me get started in the wonderful world of dog grooming. With minimal advertising (one day a week in the newspaper and word-of-mouth) I have over 150 customers and add new ones every week. This gives me enough work to stay home with my family! Thanks again for making it easy and affordable to start my own business.

I have obtained, to date, forty customers with only a small sign in my yard and no other advertisement. These customers have been very satisfied and some have scheduled for the future. I am excited for what spring may hold once my advertising has been circulated. Thanks to your grooming program I feel very comfortable and confident in what I am doing. I just wanted to send you guys a big Thank You! I purchased your program between 4-5 years ago. I was very happy with it. I worked as a vet tech at that time and I also graduated vet tech school and got my license. I wanted to change my profession to grooming and open my own shop because I was always unhappy with the various veterinary hospitals that I worked in at that time. After completing your program I started grooming out of my basement. A year after, I decided to open my own shop. I had 50 clients at that time and now only three and a half years later I have almost 500. I never advertised! I simply asked my clients to spread the word ?

Again, thanks for all the grooming tips. They will be very helpful as your manual and videos are. Without them I would still be stuck doing a job I did not like. I love dog grooming and plan to open a shop someday.

I am occasionally working with the groomer in town and am grooming dogs at home when I have the opportunity. I really enjoy working with the dogs and after I graduate from our home-school this year I plan to continue grooming at home and may decide to open a shop in the near future. Since you don’t know me (personally) I will give you a little data. As you know, people differ. It seems I am more critical than most. Maybe I am overly critical and expect too much when it comes to courses. I have been VERY pleased with your course! And I don’t even see any room for improvement! And this is a statement that seldom passes my lips. The videos are terrific. Good instruction verbally, good shots with video camera. Packed with information, no ‘dead’ time with fillers of un-important verbiage. Camera shots get right in there, so you see a close up of what is going on. I feel they couldn’t be better! The manual: also great. And the open book ‘tests’ that were devised are very thorough. Very impressed with that also. The concern of spending the amount on the package…I am glad it is the price it is, yet I can honestly say…after seeing it…it could be double the price and I would still think it not too high for what is received. The only thing I could not tell yet…was…would this lady really answer my questions once she had my money? I soon found out, yes…she will! She was willing to answer all of my questions…even those that were not a part of the material I purchased. That is very rare! Thank You for a job well done.

Thank you (for comments on pictures of practice dogs groomed). Those pictures are some of the first dogs that I and a friend had done. Of course, I have gotten a lot better. I like doing this and it is great hours and the customers NEVER complain. The owners of the dogs that I have done have had nothing but high praise for what I do and I owe it to your program for all that I have learned. It was easy, simple and fun. My passion is animals and I have searched around my area to find someone who would be willing to teach me to groom. No one would help. Some, because of lack of time. Your manual has taught me so much. I have groomed Schnauzers for about 10 years and now I have been given the confidence to expand and do other breeds. I have opened my own shop in the small country town of Raymond. Business is great and I have had lots of positive responses. The first cock-a-poo I groomed…the lady came back in the shop the next week and told me that was the best the dog had ever been groomed. I was shocked. I love it and all the pets. I have been up and running for about 8 months now and have already about 60 clients. I am getting new calls every month! This has always been my dream and I couldn’t have done it without you. I just wanted you to know that I belong to several groomers lists. Most of the time people say there is no way to learn without going to school. I was beginning to get a complex because of all the negative statements about distance learning. Well, I made a friend who has groomed for 30 years. He said that I do an excellent job and that he has tried to train groomers out of school who have horrible habits and miss part of the groom, etc. He was really asking questions about your program then. Each time I view them, I learn something new that I didn’t notice, or pay attention to previously. Your step-by-step check list is a life saver. I always review your video prior to grooming a dog-even if it is the same breed I groomed a few days ago. I have used many of your suggestions in your Business Strategies with success. During my hands-on training time I have been terribly concerned about my finished product, but everyone insists on paying me and they have been bringing their dogs back for regular grooming. Thanks!
